Glassbreakers Launches Today, Winter Tournament Announced with $2,500 Prize Purse + Swag

SEATTLE – November 13, 2025 – “Snuggle up, squad!” Starting today, players around the world on Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3/3S, and SteamVR can now select their Champions and go toe-to-toe in Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, Polyarc’s new fast-paced action-strategy battler. To celebrate the cross-platform launch, Polyarc is hosting a player-focused tournament taking place in January 2026 featuring a $2,500 prize purse and tons of physical and digital swag. During today’s VR Games Showcase, BMFVR gave a shoutout to Glassbreakers, calling it “one of the most refreshing VR strategy games I’ve seen”. In the game, players assemble squads of fantastical Champions and battle across immersive, strategically distinct arenas in real-time matches. Designed for short, jump-in-jump-out sessions leading toward long-term mastery, Glassbreakers blends tactical depth with fast-paced action, giving players the thrill of outsmarting opponents while climbing the ranks to prove their skill and rise to legend. Glassbreakers is perfect for those that like to play solo against other equally skilled players or AI, as well as those looking for amore social experience by leveraging “Buds Mode” where they can pair up with friends and play in 1v1, 2v1, or 2v2 matches.

To celebrate the launch, Polyarc is partnering with Virtual Athletics League (VAL) to lead its VR Winter Games taking place in January 2026 with an online Glassbreakers tournament featuring a $2,500 prize purse along with physical and digital swag. VR Winter Games is a series of online tournaments, fitness challenges, and fun-for-everyone events where players can enter to compete for various prizes through either the official tournaments or with one-off influencer contests that take place during the Games. As a reminder, players who participated in Glassbreakers’ Early Access and Open Beta across Meta and Steam will receive the game and the Founder Pack—which includes an exclusive mask, banner and emblem—for free as a thank you for their support. Meta players will find the updated premium game experience in their library as a new App while Steam players will receive an update to the existing game in their library. Apple Arcade members will find the game in the Apple Arcade library and can play as part of their subscription.
